Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of FlavorShelf (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an offline-first recipe manager provided by NS Mobile Apps. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Using the App
FlavorShelf is provided for your personal, non-commercial use to save, organize, plan, and import recipes. You may use the App only in a manner permitted by these Terms and by applicable law, and in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service. You are responsible for the device you use and for keeping it secure.
2. No account required
The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. Your recipes, meal plans, images, and settings are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for that content and for backing it up. Because the data is local, uninstalling the App or clearing its data will permanently remove it, and we cannot recover it for you.
3. Your content
Any recipes, notes, images, and other material you create, add, or import remain yours. Since this content is stored on your device and not on our servers, we do not claim ownership of it and do not access it. You are solely responsible for the content you store, and for ensuring you have the right to use any material you import into the App.
4. Recipe import feature
The App can import recipes from web links, social media links (such as Instagram or TikTok), or text you paste or share. When you use this feature, the content you provide is sent to our processing service to extract and structure the recipe, then returned to your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to use this feature only for content you are permitted to access and use. Imported recipes may contain errors or omissions in extraction; you should always review the result before relying on it.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
FlavorShelf offers an optional premium tier with additional features. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely through Google Play Billing, and are subject to Google’s terms. Prices, features, and availability may change. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Google Play account before the renewal date. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to Google Play’s policies; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its supporting services.
- Use the import feature to process content you do not have the right to access.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by NS Mobile Apps and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App. No rights are granted except as expressly set out here.
8. Recipe information disclaimer
FlavorShelf is a tool for organizing recipes. We do not verify the accuracy, safety, nutritional value, or suitability of any recipe stored or imported into the App. You are responsible for evaluating ingredients, allergens, cooking times, and food-safety practices. Always use your own judgement, especially regarding allergies and dietary restrictions.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Your use of the App is at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NS Mobile Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data (including recipes and meal plans), arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
11. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the App or its services if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that could cause harm.
